7. Ego.
The seventh weakness of the Narcissist is their fragile ego. Despite all appearances of confidence, sophistication, and pride, they are very insecure people. The Narcissist knows they are wearing a mask. They know what they have surrounded themselves with is just for show. Underneath all that is a coward. They run from confrontation. They can’t take a joke; they can’t handle criticism. Thus, they are very petty and vengeful, always looking to punish someone. They don’t like having difficult conversations when they are the ones in the wrong. It’s too much for their fragile ego to accept any blame. The Narcissist’s ego is easily devastated which is something I talked about in this article where I revealed a few simple ways you can deflate that ego without even meaning to.

8. Commitment.
But let’s move on to the eighth weakness of the Narcissist which is their inability to commit. Narcissists want committed relationships but they themselves cannot commit to anyone. They are not able to truly love or care for anyone. They are disloyal and are guaranteed to betray the trust of those who love them the most. They cannot be open and honest. So, their partners never really get to know the real them. They are not interested in telling the not-so-pretty details of their life. They are happy for people to fall in love with the made-up version of who they pretend to be that doesn’t really exist.
