 11. You Don’t Feel Motivated.

 Motivation to get up in the morning often comes and goes, especially when someone is stuck in a dead-end job or classes they don’t like. No one wants to get up and go to calculus, but sometimes it just has to be done. However, if someone is not motivated to get up and move at all, it can become a serious issue. It can be a sign of depression, and it can also be a sign that someone is mentally and emotionally exhausted.

 When the very idea of getting up and facing the day seems like a horribly daunting task, it’s time to look deep into what’s causing it and do something about it if it can be done. Especially if whatever is used to motivate someone doesn’t anymore, then the issue becomes clear. If old hobbies are usually enjoyed or fun things are turned away, it’s quite possible that exhaustion is prevalent.

 10. You’re Becoming Physically ill.

 You’ll worry yourself sick is an honest sentence. Not many people know that, but stress can cause body heat to rise and the body’s immune system to kick in. Stress, sadness, and other negative emotions can physically make someone sick. If someone constantly finds themselves sick, especially from stomach pain and digestive stress, it can be a sure sign that they’re emotionally and mentally exhausted and taking it out on their bodies.

 The human body reacts to perceived threats, even if they aren’t real. This means that negative emotions will make anyone sick if they imagine and perceive them to be real. It’s just a natural response.
