3. You over-focus on parenting.
Parenting is a whole life investment; all parents want to make sure that their children are educated and raised righteously. While that can be very fruitful in the future, an essential factor is mostly overlooked. Often, when parents over-focus on parenting, they will only create a vast gap between them due to accumulated years that are vacant of any form of connection, understanding, and mutual growing.
In the main, parents should not over-focus on parenting. Although that may seem inadequate, one is only missing on time wherein they should have worked with their partners to build a stronger that should last for long years. Look for the balance you feel is right, and starting integrating it into your daily life objectives.

4. You lose your passion.
It is quite widespread that couples in their first years of marriage do their best to satisfy one another and give their best of all. However, one can look at it as a candle; in its first minutes, it provides just the brightest light and fire, and then as time passes, it melts and eventually goes off. What you should do is keep the candlelit and the flame going on.
Investing in your promises and keeping the same level of excitement and love for one another is the essential pillar for a long marriage that will last for years away from any will of separation.

5. You are not forgiving.
A good marriage is always based on good forgiveness; when a couple starts to hold grudges over one another, things are eventually going to take an unwanted turn. Think about it as if it were a cup that is being filled bit by a bit. If the cup is not regularly emptied, things will become a total mess.
Instead, try to be forgiving and have a peaceful attitude towards one another’s faults and slips. This way, you will gain your marriage and prove to another how much you love them.
