9. You do not give each other a chance.

Marriage is a journey, and the odds that problems and misunderstandings would happen are great. After all, it is all on average, and when are all humans and bound mistakes. As a couple, one should be aware that giving each other a chance is a must to do a thing since this is how we grow more conscious of ourselves and vow to do be better in the future.

Warding your low and growing furious over everything your husband or wife is doing will only lead you straight to divorce.

#10 is EVERYWHERE, and it’s having a tragic impact on marriages.

10. You take your sexuality away from your spouse.

Be it porn, erotica, or sexual content novels. Taking your sexuality away from your spouse and focusing your interests away from your spouse will only make them feel almost useless and with no value. Instead, try to connect and appreciate bodily beauty. Taking your sexual urges outside the framework of marriage is a severe sin.

I’m convinced that #11 is the #1 cause of divorce

11. You are selfish

You like to be a showoff; and you talk a lot about yourself and never mention your partner, you are proud of your achievements, and you never give your spouse credit. If so, you are starting your first towards divorce.

As we have mentioned before, marriage is a common holy union, and neglecting your spouse’s contribution to your achievements is nothing but an act that would make them feel like nothing to you. Your selfish attitude will honestly result in a divorce.

12. You spend time away.

A night out with your co-workers, a trip with your friends, a reunion with your college mates, and a friend meeting over here and there. The time you spend away from each may seem like a necessary thing to you. Yet amid this, doubts quick in, and one would start to realize the void you have created, and odds are, they surely do not want to spend their whole life with someone with whom they spend little moments with.

Instead, invest in one another, trip together, do charity together, travel together, read together and make sure that even the smallest acts that make you a happy couple is done together if you want your marriage to prosper and last until death do you apart.
