Number 8: They don’t keep their promises.

At the moment, they might make a promise but never meant to keep it. They just say it because they thought it sounded good at the moment. But it was an empty promise from the start, they never had the intention to keep their word.

Number 7: They are hot and cold.

They can be completely different from one moment to the next. Think about that – it must be exhausting to constantly keep up the fake personality that they’ve created. Sometimes the facade crumbles and the real person shines through. And that real person might not be someone you’d like to have in your life, even for a second.

They might also, inwardly, be very critical of themselves, but this they would like to keep under wraps. Bringing another person down means you are dominating them, you are better than them. This is what they are trying to do.

They will say something that could be interpreted in different ways – it may sound like a compliment, but actually, they are insulting you. They like to think of themselves as very clever – so clever that they can insult you without you even noticing.
