Well, this negative emotion of envy is then accompanied with anger or rage than disgust and other negative emotions. It’s a terrible cycle that keeps the narcissist engulfed in negativity, which slowly eats away at their health.
Imagine going through life with a constant feeling of discontentment, how sad and depressed a narcissist truly is in order to be indulging in these negative emotions daily. But this is why they need the mask. They need those fake smiles and bogus laughters to hide all these negative emotions that are suffocating the life out of them.
And this is why I believe envy will destroy the narcissist because it’s driven by their covetousness, and it’s the catalyst to other negative emotions that makes it impossible for a narcissist to be truly happy or at peace.
