7. Pleasing a Narcissist Is Draining and Bad Energy.
Empaths being natural people pleasers are consumed by the need to please others. However, they have to know that the narcissist sees this as a flaw and uses it against them. They will do everything to be pleased by others, so when they see people-pleasers like the empaths, they remain stuck with them. Constantly, having every of their demand met.

They derive great joy from doing this and do everything to make it continue. They hardly ever get satisfied. The empaths should know that the job of always pleasing the narcissist, always being at their whims is a futile effort because they are never satisfied. They should know that the way to happiness and healing is not always through their love and a good gesture from another.
As such, they should focus on themselves first. After all, the Good Book says: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” They need to know that most narcissists are aware of their egocentric and nature, and most of them are proud of it and refuse to change. So showing your good hearts in the hope that they may change will only encourage them to be worse.
