2. You allow them to use your assets.
Have you noticed that the apartment you rented with your name on it is being used by your narcissistic partner like they own it? They may also be helping themselves freely to your car and credit card. A narcissistic mindset is that your belongings will also belong to them, even if you’re the one who shed blood, sweat, and tears to acquire them. Your love for the narcissist has blinded you in allowing them to use every asset you have to their liking.
The abuse might even continue to the point that all your assets will be transferred to their name eventually leaving you in the dust. Don’t let this happen! Take care of your assets and your mental and emotional well-being so that all your hard work will not go down the drain. Have you made sure to take all the necessary steps to protect your assets?

1. You won’t leave them even if you are abused.

You should know that narcissists will also make sure that you won’t be able to leave their clutches because for them, you are a tool to be used in getting whatever they want but you somehow have access to.
