Things Only A Covert Narcissist Would Say

1. I Never Tell Lies (I’m an Honest Person)

 One of the first things a Covert Narcissist would say in order to market themselves is: I don’t tell lies or I always tell the truth. They like to give the impression that they are honest people. But alarm bells should start going off when someone feels the need to tell you that they are honest or that they don’t tell lies.

Honest people do not need to make this statement. It should go without saying. But interestingly enough, it is the Covert Narcissist who tends to volunteer this information to try and make themselves look good or make you feel guilty for accusing them of something.
