4. I’m not afraid of you!
The narcissist wants respect that comes from a place of fear. They like when people walk on eggshells around them. It makes them feel powerful. This is why they’re like managerial or leadership positions, so that they can bully and manipulate people into doing what they want out of fear of being sacked, demoted, shunned, or excommunicated.
Standing up to a narcissist and letting them know you are not afraid of them or what they can do will provoke the narcissist to test that theory. So please, keep that in mind, but if you know that you are in a position where what the narcissist does truly will not bother you, then, tell them how powerless you think they really are and that you are not afraid of them. Take your power back. Take your life back from these toxic individuals.
