Number 1: They will get angry at you for being angry at them.
They will get angry at you for being angry at them, even when your anger is righteous, it’s valid, and they have done something terribly wrong to hurt you. They won’t look at their behavior; they will only focus on your reaction, to call you crazy, to call you irritating, and to make it seem like you are attacking them. They are entitled beings who just want to get away with their actions. They are used to avoiding consequences; they don’t want to face the consequences. Out of their grandiosity, they think you should give them all the permission to treat you however they want to and do whatever they want to, and that is their code of living. When you try to ask them questions and when you try to be righteously angry, they go crazy, they lose it. They never validate your anger; they never hold space for your emotions.
Everything that comes out of your mouth is perceived as some form of criticism, and they feel you are attacking them. This is how it gets translated into their crazy mind. Even when they have done something terribly wrong, they don’t take responsibility at all. You know it; they don’t see their actions through your eyes; they don’t let the insight come in and let that insight guide their behavior and form their decision-making process and what they need to change. They instead attack you back; they retaliate, they try to destroy you because you are attacking their false self. You’re not supposed to focus on their mistakes; you’re supposed to idealize them; you’re supposed to just give them all the leeway. How dare you ask them questions?
