Their aim is to make you feel unloved and abandoned so you’ll return craving their love and attention. But it’s crucial to stay firm in your decision to leave, stay away from their mind games, and instead focus on healing and building your self-worth. You deserve a healthy and loving relationship, not one filled with manipulation and ego.
Number 7: They will threaten to commit self-harm or more severe actions.
Narcissists may resort to desperate tactics like threatening suicide to make you return when you go no contact. They might even write suicide notes aimed at triggering your sympathy. But it’s crucial to remember that your well-being comes first. You can’t be responsible for someone else’s life and shouldn’t bear that burden. You have limited resources, time, and energy, and it’s not your duty to fix their problems, especially if it leads to pain and suffering for you. In essence, prioritize yourself in these situations. You can’t bring anyone back from the dead, so don’t let their manipulative tactics guilt trip you into returning to an unhealthy and abusive relationship.

Number 8: They will express narcissistic rage.

Also, be prepared for the possibility that the narcissist might show up at your workplace. Have a plan for handling such situations, whether it involves informing your employer or having a trusted co-worker on standby. Remember, it’s all about safeguarding your well-being and maintaining your boundaries during this challenging time.
