Weakness number 5: Reliant on others.
The fifth thing that the narcissist would really not want you to know is that they are in fact extremely reliant on other people. They are not as independent and powerful as they would like you to believe. They’re very needy, they’re very dependent, and if they’re not receiving attention and adulation and admiration nearly constantly, they become anxious. And then beyond that anxiety, there can be aggression, and beyond the anxiety and the aggression can be mortification which will lead to a kind of depression.

It looks just like depression. It’s actually a narcissist that has gone into narcissistic depletion of their supply. They’re no longer in narcissistic elation, which means the supply is full. It’s depleted, it looks like depression. It functions similarly to depression but it’s not depression. It’s actually narcissistic depletion because they are so reliant on other people and that supply they so desperately need.
