3. Their Greed.
The final way Narcissists sabotage their own lives is with their greed! As I always say, nothing or no one is ever enough for the Narcissist, that is why they end up having emotional and sexual affairs with just about anyone who would entertain them. This is why they would neglect their partners and children to follow after money and power.
And as I pointed out before, the Narcissist only cares for things that in the end will make them look good or feel better about themselves. They do not care about the people in their lives aside from the things they can get from them. The Narcissist’s greed keeps them unsatisfied, envious, and miserable. Their insatiable appetite for money, power, and control keeps them looking for ways to cheat people and the system in order to get ahead.
Everything a Narcissist does is bound to hurt someone in the process. That is why it is best to stay as far away from them as possible. Narcissists are too blind to see how their negative behaviours are hurting them. They do not realize that every person they hurt and betray, the darker they become. They cannot seem to connect the dots that every time they feed into their dark desires and suppress their true, broken selves, the more miserable they become.

Every lie they tell, the deeper they bury themselves. And any ounce of humanity they had left, even that broken child that some say exists is puffed out of existence, the longer the Narcissist lives and carries on down the path of destruction. Basically, the older the Narcissist gets, the more hardened and dangerous they become.
But to conclude, what we can see is that the Narcissist not only destroys the health, minds, and reputations of the people around them. They also do a very good job ruining their own lives in time. And with the knowledge of Narcissism spreading, no longer can these toxic individuals fly under the radar or be tolerated much longer.
And as a result, the Narcissist is bound to end up alone and forever miserable, because of the simple fact that they cannot appreciate the good things and the good people in their lives.
