Number 3: You Being Happy
This is such a good reminder to the narcissist that you have the ability to access and experience good feelings, whereas he or she feels dead on the inside.
This is an additional insult to the narcissist if your good feelings are to do with something or someone other than the narcissist.
The narcissist really believes that it should be the center of your universe. And, how dare you be happy, when the narcissist can’t be happy.
He will do anything possible to take away your good feelings.
Number 4: You Being Successful
As far as the narcissist is concerned, it is they who should be receiving all the acclaim, accolades and attention.
She or he is pathologically envious and jealous if you receive any recognition.
It is likely that you’ll be punished for taking away some of what narcissists really need to survive – valuable importance.
