6. Get another one.

The sixth thing the Narcissist would do after you leave them is find a replacement. Some Narcissists may at first do this above everything else as they hate being alone. So, in some instances, it will not be long before they officially have someone new to latch on to. And chances are, this person has been in the shadows for some time as Narcissists are always on the lookout for new sources of supply or are secretly having affairs behind their partners’ backs.

 But even though the Narcissist may pretend to move on, they never really do. And the person who discarded them first will always be a target that they will want to revisit sooner or later.

But to conclude, these are the 6 things a Narcissist may choose to do when someone leaves them. They may do some or all the things I have mentioned at the same time Because they are usually scrambling to regain some sort of control.  But regardless of what the Narcissist’s response is, once we let go of them, we should not allow them back no matter how hard they work to convince us that things will be better next time. Because the Narcissist will be intent on punishing you for leaving them, and they will make sure that they are the ones who discard you the next time around.
